Because that's just what we need. The most competent Republican in the country to be succeeded by a sports heckler.
Thankfully, he won't win. But does this guy run for office every election for 40 years just for fun? https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesda-beat/politics/ficker-running-for-governor-in-2022-to-cut-sales-tax/ |
| Sigh. |
|
I appreciate his work and tireless advocacy on behalf of thr people who pay property taxes.
As for the heckling, m’eh.... I’m not into sports, so I know know if that’s a thing or not. But it doesn’t bother me. |
| His work and tireless advocacy on behalf of people who want to receive services but don't want to pay the taxes required to fund the services. |
|
He can run.
I am a Democrat and will only vote for democrats, except I am comfortable voting for Hogan. Hogan is showing leadership in this pandemic. I will have no problem voting for him. |
I voted for Hogan too. No way am I voting for Ficker. |
Not to mention his tireless trolling in the comments on Bethesda Magazine articles. |
| If Hogan hand picks someone to follow him that has credibility for being like him, he would stand a chance of winning. Hogan has shown how well a Republican can govern MD. |
| i love the way the report started his report -- "Frequent candidate..." LOL. Has he won anything? |
He stumbled in to a win for a Maryland House of Delegates seat in 1978. Lost it in 1982. |
If he does that, that person will NOT be Robin Ficker. |
| Question: Can Hogan run again? I don’t think MD has term limits for governors, but the thought of Ficker even running makes me wince. (Running off to google....) |
| Nope, limited to two consecutive terms. |
| Ficker is a nut job...always has been...always will be. |
| We'd like someone like Hogan too in Virginia! |
