The most recent communication from our preschool stated that they would stay closed until June, but did not specify when in June. We are still paying full tuition and have not received any updates about whether our school got PPP money or any other kind of assistance. At this point, we can continue paying for something we can't use and need to use that money to find alternative childcare for the duration of the closure. I'm not sure how to go about requesting this. I am very aware that this is a difficult situation for everyone involved, and if we could afford to pay for both preschool and backup childcare, we would. But we can't. If you have had any luck either discontinuing payment or getting a credit or anything, I'd love to hear how you did it. And to be honest, I'm not really worried about losing our spot in the school. If that's what happens, we'll figure it out. |
They probably can't say an exact date as it's not in their hands -- the government will be deciding when preschools can safely reopen. |
How could they possibly give a specific date? |
OP, and you're right. I guess they've been giving specific dates so far, none of which have panned out, so no point this time. |
Don't most preschools end in June anyway? |
You need to ask if they got that money. Have teachers been laid off? Is the director funneling the money for himself. Speak up! |
I would not continue to pay. |
Many are year round. Some kids heading to K leave in June, others stay as late as August. |
Very strange that the school can predict the future. Lol |
She talking about daycare. |
Shocking that someone who thinks there is much of a difference between the two can’t conjugate a sentence. |
She be talking bout daycare? |
That’s sexist. Why would you assume a male is committing such an act? |
Is it a male or female op? |
