NYC this weekend with a 2-yr-old

We're thinking about going to the Nat. History Museum and FAO Schwartz. Staying near Central Park. Any recommendations?

Definitely check out the Central Park zoo; check online to see what time the seal feeding is.

Childrens museum would be good too.

We took our 14 mon old to the Met - got there at 9 - and she loved it - lots of place to walk and run (especially in the egypt section) and the guards were incredibly friendly and kind...

we also shopped at bloomingdale's and found that to be fairly easy - lots of elevators - kids section has a lot of room to walk around in (and play!)
