Has anyone flown domestically since the new travel regulations?

Anonymous
I am flying soon with 2 kids, 2 yrs and 8 months, on a domestic flight to FL. I was wondeing about the new regulations that you cant have anything in your lap during the last hour of the flight. Is this the rule for domestic flights or just international? How do you keep kids entertained if I cant show them a book or a toy?

Thanks

We flew to FL on Dec 28th, and there were no new regs in effect. We flew Southwest, which seems to be about the most laid-back of the domestic airlines, at least the ones I've flown recently. They had no problems with the kids playing with toys, iPhones, laptops, etc. (flew back on Jan 9th or so, and also had no problems)

I've also heard that things are REALLY variable, and flight-dependent.

We just went to florida as well. No issues. No seat or toy restrictions. I brought 8oz of milk with me. I think the new regs may be international only.
