IVF in the Los Angeles area?

Anyone know of any good IVF clinics in the Los Angeles area? I looked on IVF Connections and surprisingly there were only 3 posts in the California section and all were for places in the Bay area. Thanks in advance.

I will ask my friend but I know that she used someone in Los Angeles-it was Brook Shield's doc.

LA is not known for having high quality clinics and I would avoid them. There is a great one in Las Vegas, however, if she can travel a little bit:

They have a clinic in Los Angeles that maybe she could go to for office visits and monitoring, but the most important thing is to get to the Las Vegas location for its embryo lab. Using a subpar lab makes the entire effort futile. Using a great lab makes all the difference.

She should check out the stats kept on all clinics nationwide at the CDC to give her an idea of the difference a better lab makes, keeping in mind that the highest success labs are also ones of last resort (meaning that women who have failed elsewhere go to these clinics and instead of dragging their rates down, they still have higher success rates).

Dr. Hal Danzer at Southern California Reproductive Center is supposed to be good.

I saw Dr Tourgeman at Huntington Reproductive Clinic & have a beautiful baby boy. I lived in LA & heard about the clinic in Los Vegas but having a doctor 10 min drive away from my home was a real stress reducer, which I think contributed to our success.
