Our DC attended for a year. Great facilities. Great teachers. The administrator -- not so great. FWIW, we also had experience with another Montessori program that we are much happier with.

To PP, if you don't mind me asking, which Montessori was that?

Thanks for your time & the feedback.

I have a child at Walden and have mixed experience. Overall, I do like it. I have had great experience with the administrator, but I know someone else who had a bad one. I think that they really care about the kids and their education. The only downside that I have found is that the teacher of my child's class is not as warm as I would expect a preschool teacher to be. She's a great teacher though and knows what she's doing. I think it depends on the child. I would recommend the school, but with that condition.

To PP: My child will be in one of the 3-6 year old classrooms. Which teacher do you recommend?

Just saw the question on my post. My child is in Mrs Basu's class. I have heard great things about Mrs Strickland. She's the "warmer" of the two teacher. Mrs Basu is an excellent educator and really has a sixth sense for any issues that arise. If you have a shy, sensitive child, I'd probably recommend Mrs Strickland. I'd suggest observing both teachers for about 20-30 minutes to get an idea of their styles.
