Is your clinic doing cycles?

Wondering who has restarted services. Thanks!

Yes. CFA.

Yes, with SGF for a retrieval which is set for middle of May right now. Procedure would have to take place in VA.

They are all open right now for normal iui/ivf. My clinic wouldn't let me do it simply because my protocol requires suppressing my immune system during the pandemic😩.

Umm no, they aren’t. My clinic still isn’t doing any procedures or treatments since the ASRM is still not recommending it.

Nope. Not yet resumed.

To the PPs who say your clinic is still closed - what clinic are you with?

Would you be willing to give more details about when you started priming (im assuming priming since you are a month out) and what your communications have been? My last update approximately 3 weeks ago was a hard stop for Shady Grove. I’m fairly young and don’t have DOR so I’m wondering if that’s why I haven’t heard anything or if I should follow up.

When I reached out to them middle of last week, they said that they were able to begin limited cycles. I'm 40 and will be turning 41 this summer, so I think they may be giving age more of a consideration for proceeding with IVF. I just started the protocol (on BCP now for about a week) and won't start stimulation and monitoring until early May.

Hope this helps.

Awesome thanks! I’ll reach to them next week and see what the deal is. Good luck!

Dominion is doing cycles for patients over 35.

I'm under 35 and just started FET prep at CFA yesterday.

which i guess answers the question as to whether people feel comfortable going forward with transfers now.

I need to decide soon.

I believe SGF is doing certain "time sensitive" cases- if you are older; entering chemo.

I had a virtual consult with my RE at SGF. Sounds like the only cycles they were allowing before were critical cases like folks heading into chemo and needing to freeze eggs/sperm. They are resuming some services on a limited basis to keep up distancing/lowering infection risks. I am still sitting with the risks and thinking it over but will probably be doing an FET this summer since I am already 41 and moving out of the region in the fall. Good luck everyone! This is a difficult time. If I was younger, I would definitely wait but I don't feel like the risk is going to decrease in the next 1-2 years (until a vaccine is available), I'm taking all the precautions I can, and trusting the other folks TTC with fertility treatments are also doing the most to optimize health and safety right now. This is requiring more trust than I'm normally capable of.

The number if unknown asymptotic cases is alarming to say the least. I'm guessing this is everyone else's #1 worry too. Hang in there!
