Have you seen the BST facebook groups for Insta-popular pacifiers/teethers/utensils? There’s no way to know what is brand new and what’s been used, and people often ask retail or near retail price. They all get a massive side eye and no thank you from me

You'd be amazed at the crap people buy. I've sold stuff like that and cups, bottles, etc. at the consignment sales. And, cloth diapers.

Ha, people sell USED underwear!!! I am part of a Mini boden $ HA BST group on facebook - I was SHOCKED the 1st time I saw people selling used underwear. I know their undies are great, but really? I am even more shocked every time people actually buy it!

Meh, they can be sanitized. I get why it's gross, psychologically, but there's no actual danger, babies don't know the difference, and some of those things (at least Sophie the Giraffe when my kid was a baby) are actually $$. I don't know if I'd buy used teething toys, but I do buy used utensils, which go in people's mouths, used baby clothes, which probably had pee on them at some point, etc.

But don't listen to me, I guess. I also bought used cloth diapers. *shrug*

Why wouldn’t they? You cleaned them regularly when your baby used them right? How is it different to clean them between kids. Did you think that families with multiple kids bought new teething toys every time? Like one set for six month molars and another set for 12 month molars.
