| Great production on NBC tonight, but there was no resurrection at the end! Like that’s the whole point. And what was Judas doing at the end back from the dead after hanging himself? |
| I loved this performance except for the audience. The constant cheering took away from my fully enjoying the performers. Brandon Dixon was AMAZING!! |
| I liked it, but the broadcast on The Shows Must Go On YouTube channel was better. Ben Forster and Tim Minchin were amazing. They are showing ALW musicals every weekend during the pandemic |
I disagree that there was no resurrection. Jesus on the cross faded into the background and then a huge bright light took his place. At first looking like, perhaps, an enormous stone in front of a tomb. I mean no, Jesus didn't come back and talk to Mary Magdeline and the apostles, but I definitely think the resurrection was there. |
| If it raised the curiosity of Jesus Christ in even just one young person then it was worth it despite armchair critics. |
The Resurrection is the cornerstone of Christianity and should’ve been a bigger deal. Excellent music and performance though. |
It's braodway, not church |
|
It was never meant to be theologically correct, or even religious.
