If you have anything that you thing is wasted if not shared with us, please do post here so
we all can benefit. There is tons of great ideas flying out there and if we catch them in one place and can easily access, maybe his could make our lives easier and who knows, maybe even save a life or two. Best news.. A buck a piece... random example of my invention. the are big: 61"W x 68"H https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DLFK21G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Inspired by NYC nurses who were using trash bags for their PPE. 1. I found the largest imaginable trash bag on Amazon. Clear thin and not too expensive. 2. I use it while decontaminating stuff as needed, and groceries from the store. 3. It is 68" Hight so if yo make a head hole it will cover most of your body depending how tall you are 68" = 5' 8" so this is pretty good coverage! if you ask me.
I am tempting to go dressed like this next grocery shopping but I am afraid I would have trouble to deal with post covid attention I would receive from my fashion oriented hood.

Spray.. wait.. pull.. no touching needed. |

PUMP FOR ALL THE HOME MADE DISINFECTING SOLUTIONS It is amazing. So much better then the normal spray.. I stole idea form my garden tools. You just pump the pressure and you can spray the heck out of he virus. Depending on the material and temperature though. Some surfaces at lower temperatures could take more, some others at higher temperatures could take less. |

Using small tinny soap bars, hotel style for kids and adults.
I love normal soap as opposed to hand sanitizers because not only soap is more effective but also way more friendly on the skin. I also have NO idea how the sanitizer is supposed to kill anything on the hands if the research shows that the virus must be subjected to the sanitizing medium of any kind for the minimum of five minutes. Who is keeping wet sanitizer in amounts on their hands? for FIVE minutes? I think nobody. Back to the soap. I was wondering if one can buy tinny hotel soap bars so you don't have to use the same big bar at this time. I amazoned them and I found them, yep, they sell them and this sounds like my next move to make it all even safer. Oh God.. I, like most people here are done with listening to the experts who defy logic and reassure us that we don't need to do stuff that keeps us safe because they don't have the skin in the game. We were told that the chance of the virus getting to the US is very low. By the experts. We were told that it does not spread person to person. By the experts. We were told that the virus does not hang in the air. By the experts We were told that the virus does not live on the packages from Amazon. By the experts. We were told that if the person is not displaying symptoms they are not contagious. By the experts. We were told that if you are no longer symptomatic you can not carry the virus. By the experts. We were told that the masks don't work. By the experts So please.. if you are telling me that we don't need to disinfect your groceries I will tell you, we probably do just because you are telling us not to.
However if you want to talk science, lets' talk science. I can give you the following: The virus can loose it's power and break down with time and the right temperature on its own. The virus can "die" faster if it is on the fabric or porous material then if it is on the metal or plastic. The virus can be killed by the exposure to heat and humid. The virus can be killed by the use of disinfecting medium if it will be exposed to it long enough. The virus can be killed by certain environment like alkaline solutions because it does not like it. Now you have to give me this: If an apple or a cereal box or a meat package is sitting in the store where 1000 people paraded and breath, wearing either make shift masks or scarfs that we were told do not work in the first place, and the very breath carries the virus that subsequently hangs in the air and sits on all the products.. Pray tell where does it go and by what means? If you pack your groceries and bring it home what happened. Poof, magic? It disappeared on it's own? If you handle the bags or packaging you can very well get it from them. Can you get it from fruits and veggies or their bags? Sure, why not? Unless you either wait long enough for it to break down on its own or disinfect it. If you wait, you need to wait quite a long time, because in the room temperature it dies faster, but we both know that the cooler it is the longer the little sucker lives don't we? So if you put your stuff in the fridge undisinfected, not only you are risking infection via that item but also via anything it touches. Is the freezer safe? No, just look into your own link that you posted as it says what we both know anyway: A word about frozen food Some of you have asked if freezing food kills the virus. The answer is no. Refrigerating or freezing would actually help the virus survive longer — that's why research labs freeze virus samples to preserve them, as Graham notes. If you don't want to disinfect your goods then don't. However when you say it is safe to just bring things and go on with the business then that is not right. You are not only spreading misinformation but also endanger people. At least if you should include a caveat that the virus can potentially be on anything you bring from outside and you need to give it quite long time for it to break down on it's own provided right condition and temperature or else you should disinfect if you intend to consume things immediately or soon. Yeah, in all of that long ridiculous grandstanding, you forgot to mention the quote that said: "There's just no evidence that these foods (fruits and vegetables) can transmit the virus or can cause COVID-19" But please, continue to copy and paste the quotes that only feed your narrative of hysteria. |

Are you buying this because you think you could catch COVID-19 from a bar of soap that a family member used? You are more likely to introduce it into your household by ordering soap since the package will likely pass through at least five sets of hands before it arrives at your home. |
