Can someone share what the issues are with CCL? My kid plays CCL and I had no idea. I'm not very clued-in about all things club soccer.

Depends if you have a boy or girl. The boys side seem okay the girls side not so much. The girls side is having problems field enough team to schedule league games in this area- two league games in September and one in October. Many of the local clubs are leaving, forcing the league to schedule games farther and farther away at the last minute and the competition is uneven. Two clubs usually dominate the league. The games against the two dominate clubs are usually blowouts. So much so that clubs question what good these games provide. Hence the clubs leaving.

Also you have to factor in the new ECNL u12 league, the uncertainty of DA and travel soccer most likely will not start till spring of 2021.
