we will be there for spring break for 4 maybe 5 days. What are some good places to take three kids-2, 4, 6 years old-all boys. We will do the zoo, maybe Legoland and maybe an aquarium but am open...thank you.

Residence inn in Mission Valley. Absolutely do Legoland - don't miss it - perfect for those ages. There's a nice public playground on the way to Seaworld which was great. Near the Zoo is a Science Museum which has a great play area for the 6 and under crowd, and there's a carousel over there, too. Such a great place for kids. I want to go back!

Try the Maritime museum too

I would second the Residence Inn Mission Valley. We only stayed there for a flight lay-over - but it was nice.

NO, NO, NO! Went to Legoland last spring break and it was the worst experience ever. The lines were painfully LONG and the rides were only so-so. It was a total waste of money. Seaworld, the zoo, and the wild animal park were all great. The best thing was playing in the tide pools on the beaches of La Jolla - free! Really, anything but Legoland.

In addition to the obvious (Seaworld, Zoo, beach) my 5 year old LOVED the Maritime Museum and the adjacent aircraft carrier. You can get tickets for a boat ride around the harbor at the museum.
