Another Bikini Wax Question

I have read all the posts on this with great interest. I want to make an appointment and go before going to the beach in early Feb. When do I stop shaving because from what I have read on here, it is better to have some growth. I know everyone is different but if it was in the summer I would probably shave at least every other day, if that helps. Do I stop a week before? Can it ever be too long and then too painful? Any good recommendations in Arlington?

You can go with long hair. In some cases, they've trimmed it for me before waxing.

Also, be sure to visit a salon that is clean - as in provides disposable underwear.

It's best to have 1/4" of hair though I was told it's doable with 1/8".

Any good recommendations for Arlington? I was going to go to 3 Sisters in Clarendon, anybody been there?
