What to buy for summer fun

Anonymous
Let’s assume camps will be cancelled and community pools won’t open. What do we need for summer fun? We don’t have a large backyard but have some room for things to keep the kids busy. What should we get?

-sprinkler
-water balloons (spare yourself the headache - get the kind that you attach the piece to the hose and fill 100 balloons at once)
-cheap buckets (dollar tree), sponges, rags (they can 'wash' their toys, bikes, the fence, etc
-squirt toys (squirt guns aren't the only option if those aren't your thing)
-chalk
-small pool
-stomp rockets

Jump rope
Buckets
Sprinkler
Hula hoop
Balls
Pots and soil to grow some seeds of you don't have in grounds space

I'd start small and add if needed. I find the games are much more creative when kids have to improvise.

Bubbles
Water table (my 8 year old tends to tire of this quickly, but 3 & 5 love it for a long time)
Sand box
Water slide (Target seems to have a lot of these in stock online right now; was just looking at them)
Scooters for the neighborhood, if you have anywhere to safely do that
Same with balance bikes/bicycles

Really wishing I had a backyard pool.

I am really hoping we get through the first set of peaks to at least open community pools for part of the summer.

Fun sprinkler system is a must

We have an inflatable pool and put the fisher tike plastic slide in it as a water slide. My kids love it.
