Beta 1 at 11dp5dt: 570
Beta 2 at 13dp5dt: 1504 doubling time, 32 hours Beta 3 at 20dp5dt: 15020 doubling time: 50 hours I’ve had one donor egg miscarriage which followed a similar pattern except it slowed to 50 hours doubling much quicker. Thoughts? My clinic has the B team nurses working because of the epidemic, or maybe they’re just stressed, because initially the nurse told me my numbers quadrupled. She didn’t read the chart to see it was a week since my last beta. I’m frustrated and scared. |
| that sucks |
| No advice, just sending good thoughts. I remember so clearly being where you are now, and it is such a crappy place. Things will get better! |

Have you looked at insulin resistance? It can be a cause of recurrent miscarriage. Cut out carbs now.

Once beats hit 6,000 they significantly slow. Since there was such a big amount of time between beta 2 and 3, you don’t know if it kept up its doubling every 48 hours and then slowed closer to bets number 3. I would be cautiously optimistic
|
Huh? Where did OP say she had an insulin issue....? |
This! Doubling time should slow as the numbers get higher. |
+2 Do you have an ultrasound scheduled yet, OP? |
Yep, don't panic, OP. |
| these look like good number to me. |
| So backtracking your first beta to 14dpo gets you to 285 or so. Studies show typically good outcomes for betas over 200 at that point. I think your numbers are actually very good. Don’t panic! |
| OP here. Ultrasound scheduled for Monday, April 20. I have to go in alone because of covid. I kick myself for doing this right before a pandemic! But, I couldn’t take being cancelled 2 cycles in a row. |
| Mine did this while struggling with IF and after several miscarriages. It turned out to be a "twin" dying - delivered a healthy baby girl 9 months later. Good luck OP. Found out on an U/S similar to what you're doing next week. |
