While biking today, some one on the car smoking marijuana drove past me. I was able to smell it. Is there a chance the virus could be transmitted this way? |
OMG |
I am dying. |
Lol the first two posts were the comments. Damn, you dumb. |
I’m at a loss for words. |
Why? Couldn’t the virus be in the smell? Isn’t smell air? |
No, but sorry about your security clearance. Better get some niacin. |
I was biking by Montgomery Mall the other day and a delivery driver by Cheesecake Factory was definitely smoking something. Thankfully not too many cars on the road. |
The virus doesn't live in air. The virus lives in saliva and mucous droplets. Odor particles travel farther than spit and snot. |
Good story. |
I’ve had the same question. If what you breath in is exhaled marijuana smoke and the virus can be transmitted in the air, can it be transmitted that way? Not a dumb question actually. |
Yes. It is. You can smell pot from 100+yards away. If the virus was that transmittable we’d be fuct |
Nah. Any virus that is stoned looses the ambition to infect others. Unless it thinks you are junk food. |
Only tangentially related, as it has to do with smoking and stupidity. Today, I saw a woman out walking her dog, she was theoretically wearing a mask, but she had pulled it down below her chin in order to smoke her cigarette. There's a host of coronavirus violations going on here: the obvious, smoking's gonna kill you, putting your hands to your mouth, taking the mask on and off without washing hands, or mask, in between. Am I right? |
