Baby number 3

I thought they were suppose to be chill and go with the flow. This kid is killing me. He won’t go down for naps for more than 15-30 minutes. Wants to be held all the time. Won’t sleep at night more than 2-3 hours. Wtf! My first was sort of like this but slept 8 hours by 10 weeks. My second was sooo chill. We could leave her in the swing for hours. Also slept super well at night. Add to the fact we are all stuck at home all the time together I am exhausted snd yelling at the older kids all the time because I feel like I keep trying to get the baby to sleep or he is yelling. Baby is 8 weeks old.

Heh. You had great babies first and the normal one third.
The rest of us had babies that wanted to be held and snuggled and would only sleep in 2 hrs intervals for first and second kids. You just push throguh. It sucks but isn't out of the ordinary. I don't think 3rd kids are super chill. The parent is and know if you let them cry and fuss it'll be ok.

So sorry, OP. It sounds like your first two were super easy babies. (We didn't get an 8-hour stretch for forever!) This third one sounds more like an average baby.

Pp again. My second is 6 months and still wakes 1-2 times a night. And the oldest comfort nurses for 2-3 hrs every night from week 6-12 and it was brutal and I was a zombie.
It is what it is.

My third child, now age 3, is by far my most intense. She also had night terrors, which neither older kid had. At least she didn't have reflux like my second. Most people I know who have three or more didn't find the third easy at all.

Thirds are chill in that they expect everyone else to do things for them, though. Also thirds can typically walk into a room and know how to get what they want from everyone there - be cute when needed, whiny when needed, and so on. It's quite something to see.
