National Building Museum Summer Camp 2010! For students entering grades 3-5.
Building Artists (July 12-23, 2010) Learn about the building arts through creative movement, visual art, pop up architecture, and more. End the session with a multi-arts show for family and friends. Worldly Builders (July 26-August 6, 2010) Explore China, Italy, and New Mexico's culture through the lens of an architect! Special guest artists and architects, trips to museums, and design educators will help inform campers in recreating and re-imagining the structures and traditions that one identifies with different regions. Campers lead family and friends on a world tour at the end of the session. Young Designers (August 9-20, 2010) With a special focus on the Museum’s neighborhood, Judiciary Square, experience the city’s public art and history through visual art, photography, storytelling, and building arts activities.
