What are putting in your children’s Easter basket this year? I haven’t bought a thing yet. 1) I hate to give them a bunch of candy as they aren’t as active right now 2) I am not going shopping much at all, and not to stores that would have typical stuff I would put in 3) amazon shipping is very delayed.
What is your plan if you do Easter baskets? I usually do books, candy, pair of fun socks, some odds and ends, but I just don’t know if it will come together this year. |

| I ordered from target. Xbox just dance, LEGO kit for each, frozen doll, puzzle. I’m getting stuff to keep them entertained as this goes on... |

Ordered a few things from Hallmark online yesterday and it's set to arrive in time. If interested, I wouldn't delay.
Michaels online seems to be sold out of all the good stuff. You may still be able to get certain things on Amazon in time, if you act quickly. Walmart pick up orders for candy should work. |

| I did Target drive up pick up today for Easter candy and it was great. They stuck it in the trunk after I popped it for them. You just have to hold out a cellphone for them to scan at a distance. |

| We plan on doing Easter baskets too! Thanks for the reminder! We need to make sure we get what we need for them soon. I understand your concerns about the candy now, but personally I’d let them have some candy. I also like your idea for fun socks. Maybe also try some hot wheels or mini trains to the basket if your children like those toys. These may be able to fit inside plastic eggs. I’m going to check for ourselves but I think these things can still be ordered on Amazon it Target too. |

If you don’t want your kids to have too much candy, what about dried fruit? Cherries, mangoes, something different?
We have a small stash of quick craft kits, art supplies, etc all the time so I am going to raid it for some small things... scrucnchies, small tins of play-do, etc. i think we could put pennies in the eggs and hide them, and our kids would be fine (but mine are maybe different ages from yours). Time to go through the gift-stash, regiFt-stash, and “Oops I forgot to put these in their stockings” stash! |
