Hey new teleworkers, have you had to buy new tech?

Both my husband and I had to buy new laptops. Ours were old, and were fine for occasionally working at home. They did not hold up to 8 hour days. It was pretty hard to find any in stock, too, so I assume many people are having this trouble.

Ran out of printer ink too, but Amazon delivered that pretty quickly.

When I went to full time work from home years ago, I purchased dual 27" monitors. I do code development so perhaps not entirely necessary but it makes some things easier. Laptop keyboards are fine for light use. I went through about six keyboards before I found one that was tolerable.

I hate printing but maintain one for everyone else.

Yup, on about day three my 8 year old motherboard had a melt down on my home office machine. Newegg came through with the new parts in a jiffy and I am back running now.
