Some might. But without their cult leader, a big chunk of the MAGA faithful will become less engaged in politics, forcing right-wing politicians to find a different bloc to pander to. |

We watch that movie every year—it’s going to hit differently now! |
My guess about what will happen when Trump dies is different, but it also involves otherworldly fire. |
In a 10th circle set aside only for those that who are so evil and despicable they are doomed to suffer all nine circles for eternity. He will beg for mercy between his agonizing pitiful screams and Satan will laugh uproariously. |
That’s not fair to Scrooge. Scrooge was an honest but miserly and ungenerous man. Trump is a greedy, hateful, selfish criminal, terrorist, traitor. |
Sadly no. He’ll just be a rotting corpse. |

This thread has surprising longevity.

Meh. He forgot where Camilla was sitting, and had to look around to find her. |
It might even last longer than...eh, not gonna say the quiet part out loud. |
I mean it’d be great if he could somehow be held accountable for his crimes with a long prison sentence. But I’m not holding my breath. |
Not doubt they will twist and gaslight, just like they always do. |
What pp describes is a bigger punishment for him than a prison sentence. Weak and shriveled, no swirling of hair in an attempt to hide his balding, no orange pancake makeup to cover his pasty skin and rosacea, no giant suits to obscure his figure, shut off from the world, no control, no ability to communicate, his presence no longer relevant, no power, no sycophants by his side, the object of pity to the women paid to provide his medical care, no loving family member who will visit every day and lovingly care for him, no heir who can equal or surpass him, each day more miserable than the last, and worst of all: he can’t lie, bully, bribe or blackmail his way out of it. |
He would face a lot of that in prison too. How about he has a stroke soon after staring his prison term? Some justice for his crimes would be nice. |
There will be many, many claps of glory when this day arrives. |
