What is your preschool sending home or hosting when the school is closed? Ours is just sending lots of links to ideas. |
My 4 year old’s teacher is sending letter of the week activities, art ideas, and hosting a circle time on zoom three times a week. My 2 year olds teacher is doing zoom once a week and sending ideas for art projects and activities we can do at home. I see something from them daily.
I think it seems appropriate for their ages, and honestly, with both of us trying to work at home, we can’t even do half the things they send. |
I think it should all be OPTIONAL to start with. Social phone calls for kids to see all their friends is enough maybe three times a week in my opinion. Storytime would be good or singing. |
It is optional, dumbass. |
We still have to pay full tuition for 15 minutes of zoom once a week!! What a country! |
What age group? |
Ours is doing daily zoom meetings and a lot of videos. Still charging full tuition and acting as though these things are a replacement for the kids being in the school. |
Big scam |
Ours officially closed and stopped charging tuition but also not providing anything online which is ok. |
That’s pretty sweet |
Daily zoom and a daily craft but we only have to pay through the end of April, so I Don't know what will happen after that. |
Zoom lessons and videos and daily lessons. |
Our preschool is having class time once a week, group time twice a week, lunches together everyday, Spanish class once a week, and one-on-one Zooms with the teachers twice a week.
Even the toddler room is having group time everyday. We are very pleased. |
Our preschool is closed and no one is paying tuition. They have furloughed teachers. No material or videos. We have arranged for private zoom meetings and lesson plans with a teacher for separate pay directly to her. |
same for my 2 year old. My 4 year old has zoom class every day for 30 mins and you can’t hear a thing the teachers say. paying full tuition for both at different preschools. Ridiculous. |
