Fuse beads - ugh

Anonymous
If I drop one more of my child’s fuse bead creations on the way to the ironing board in the basement — which means having to put everything back together - I may need to break out the bourbon.

Is the ironing board bolted to the floor? The iron weighs 200lbs and can't be brought upstairs?

Perhaps it is the bourbon causing the dropping?

Do you honestly think I can’t solve the problem? Isn’t it more likely I was trying to add a bit of humor to the days of people who also have fuse bead fanatics? You must be really fun at a party.

Been there done that lol. Luckily my daughter has been a pretty good sport about it. Honestly, I hardly use the iron for clothes so now it's on the main floor so I can just get those suckers done fast!

lol -- i'm with you. i would never bring my ironing board up a floor.

I always forget to iron them (not on purpose), or forget to re-iron them when they inevitably break.

I hid those things after my then 3-year-old chucked an open bucket of them across the room. She’s 5 now. I’m still not getting them out.

+1. Except I do it on the same table they’re creating the project on. The shorter the transport distance, the better!
