favorite cheap toys?

Got my 9yo a $1.50 jump rope and he's nonstop jumping around the house -- it is awesome. Other cheap but fun, long-lasting fun ideas?

My kids have been living doing "trick shots" with bouncy balls or ping pong balls into tupperware containers. They're pretty much playing beer pong, but it keeps them very entertained!

They also love their stomp rockets and filling up a big bucket of water and using those squirter things.
