Matched at ITDS BASIS - waitlisted #1 (grade 5 sibling match) woohoo But really want DCI French for DD - waitlisted #7 How likely is it for the waitlist to move for DCI French? Thx! |

Based on past years, I'd say you have a very good shot. However, as feeder schools send more and more students and the siblings of non-feeder students enter, there will be less and less movement. Good luck - I hope it works out! We got in through the lottery and have seen our kid really grow as a student - some of it has to do with maturing but we give a lot of credit to DCI for supporting that growth. As example, our kid's PARCC scores grew way more at DCI than they did at our 5-star elementary school with a waitlist in the hundreds. |

| Thanks PP, I love to hear this and have heard it many times before. Fingers crossed it works out...especially because I have two little ones right behind my 6th grade DD with the youngest in 1st. This would seriously be the ultimate lottery win! |

| DC in at DCI French for 6th and 50/50 on taking the spot. Currently at an independent school and money is TIGHT. Happy to update if we decline the spot,, but it will be a last minute decision. Wishing that we'd visited in Fall, but only made it to Hardy. |
