Village Green school opening then not opening

I know not many VG parents on here but does anyone know what happened that caused village Green to say they are opening yesterday and then today change their mind? What the heck?

How about the fact that the governor closed all schools for the year? That might make them think twice.

He also announced today that all non essential businesses should close and re iterated the less than 10 in one establishment at a time rule.

OP here. Yesterday after the Governor’s announcement they said they would reopen and follow the new rules. But then today changed their minds. I want to understand.

I think the reason they changed their mind was bc they got a ton of parent push back. The email told us not to send our kids but insinuated that we had to keep paying. Not to mention, it’s completely unsafe to be putting kids in a group situation right now.

What I want to know is about the latest email and what’s happening to our May deposits. If you look at the contract, you pre pay by two months. Your last payment is on April 1. He makes it seem like he’s not forcing us to pay for three months but we are only getting one month.

If you are not going back next year, give your 30 day notice depending on your contract and don't pay april and tell them to use one payment for april and send the other month back.

Everyone needs things right now. Some things are just not safe or possible. The parents of public school children are in the same situation.
