Does anyone know what the rhyme or reason is to the weekly "vegetarian empanada" offerings? Is there a set rotation, or names for the different flavors? I had an amazing vegan empanada there a while ago--chick peas, carrots, slightly samosa like in flavors-- but haven't seen it since, and don't know how to ask for it. I've tried a few other "weekly vegetarian" empanadas that tasted like Gerbers strained carrots, so trial and error isn't working that well. I tried to ask the counter lady when I visited yesterday, and got a blank stare.
