Have your offices closed? Have you taken PTO? FMLA??
My job is still going on and my DH has been working from home a bit but his office is also still open. |
My office and my husband's offices closed. My husband may have to go back in 3 weeks, but they said they'd reevaluate before then. My office said we can work from home through May. |
Unless you're essential personnel, STAY HOME.
If your employer is not essential and requires you to report to work, they are contributing to the deaths we will have. They are dangerously irresponsible and may even be liable, in our litigious society. You should talk to your employer. |
Both working full time teleworking at home. Struggle bus |
I'm a teacher, so I am just home with my toddler whose preschool is also closed. My DH has been going into the office because that's what has been required, but that's about to change. |
DH owns his own firm. He insisted EVERYONE work from home after March 13th. He goes into the office twice a week to deal with mail and accounting issues. I work for a tech company. I'm working from home. So is everyone else. We're not allowed back until May at the earliest, and that may change. |
I just got really lucky and am able to telework. DH works at a university, they're doing distance learning, so he's working from home, too. |
Restaurant got closed. They should reopen when it all is said and done. DC works in telemedicine and goes to work as always. He is also working from home and on weekends right now.
DC is home from DCPS and I have all the time in the world to keep up with his school work. |
Struggle bus driven by Capt Shitshow, powered by nightmare fuel, on the highway to pure Groundhog Day-esque hell. How is it possible that every day is the same, but somehow worse than the day before it? |
We both lost our jobs. |
I’m so sorry, PP. I hope things get better for you both, and very soon. |
My employer required us to telework |
I'm sorry. Hang in there. |
Working shifts with dh from home while watching a baby and a preschooler. Super fun. I'm also working over the weekend to make up some hours. We can each get about 5 hrs of work done in a day. The rest is pto.
My office is open and people who don't have childcare issues are going in. Social distancing and no meetings (all via phone). And no we mostly can't do work from home since we are dod. (I'm running out of it too) If my company closes we will all burn PTO and then not get paid. |
DH can work from home. I'm a nurse who works night shift. We make it work |
