TJ transportation

Anyone with kids currently going to TJ from the Springhill Elementary School area? Where and when does the school bus pick up and drop off?

Thank you!

Same here. Trying to decide based on transportation logistics. Can someone post the same for those near the Longfellow middle school area? Where does the bus pick up from and drop off? What times and how long is the commute each way. Thanks.

Same here..Wondering about Cooper middle school. From which school (Forestville?), what time and commute time? Thanks in advance!

This is one of the most useful threads here. We are in Burke. Same questions: where (pick up and drop off), when, and commute times.

Lots of questions so far, but no answers yet. Hope we can start a table with this information for the benefit of all of us. Thanks!

Have a child in Rocky/Chantilly area. Bus depot options are GBW and Poplar Tree Park for AM and Chantilly Library in addition to the 2 AM stops in PM. Times are 7:30 am and 5:05 PM approximately.

Once you guys accept, you will receive an email to fill out a google form for selecting your bus depot.

Last year pickup was in Louise Archer ES and Cunnigham Park ES. Drop offs were at the same locations. They also had Oakton library as a drop off location. You will get that info. shortly.

Sign up is in the form of a google form and so getting the data is really cumbersome! I wish I could share screen shots here so you could see it all. I started going through these to try and help but I don't know the areas well enough to know what is close to the schools/areas you've mentioned. In general, pickups are between 7:20 and 7:40 with a few outliers being Cunningham Park at 8:01 and Forrestdale at 8:07.

And drop offs are between 4:40 and 5 with some later exceptions like Chantilly public library at 5:11, Clearview Elementary at 5:15, Colvin Run at 5:05, Greenbrier at 5:13, Lorton Library at 5:13, Sandburg at 5:09.

I think you'll get bus depot signup info in April for rising Freshmen.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks, PP. this is very useful. Is there a way to request adding a stop, such as Langley High School? I saw that there is a stop at McLean High School. If they can add one stop at Langley High School will be great.
