In northern VA.
All the teens are hanging out together and I won’t let mine. Seriously. It’s time to be a parent and stop. It’s not safe. Even one or two friends still exposes everyone to each other’s families, parents workplaces, etc. People are fighting for their lives in our hospitals. Please, please keep your kids home. |
| No, those people are stupid. My 18 year old has been in the house with me for 6 days. |
| Nope, mines not leaving the house. |

Groups < 10?
You are doing isolation when the govt ask for social distancing. |
| I don’t trust the government. I am isolating |
|
Those people are idiots.
They are the same idiots that are going to be extremely upset when their DC have to sleep outside in tents with no respirators. I know the rules do not pertain to them. UGH |
You should have realized a long time ago that governments are always late. By the time they implement something, it's really time to move on to the next restriction. |
The government? I follow science and facts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandemic |
Seriously. Just look at Italy. Our response has been inferior to theirs AND they have more hospital beds (per capita) than we do. |
| My teens have been pretty good about it but one of them desperately wants to see her boyfriend. I'm holding my ground on it but it's not easy. Sigh. |
You are over reacting. There will be isolation in the next 3 days. But why force it before necessary? If You were following world news why didn't you pull them from schools 2 weeks ago and start then? |
I would let her see her boyfriend. That seems like a step too far. |
I think you people are also going to be upset when we are in a depression, not a recession. It sucks. |
A bunch of 17YO are not going to be in Tent City hospitals on ventilators. There are many valid reasons for social distancing, but this isn’t one of them. Stop the hyperbole! |
Their parents may be when they bring the virus home. |
