Libraries are closed - are full time employees still getting paid? I hope.

Does anyone have insight on what it means for DC public library employees now that libraries are shut? Will they still get paid?

Not sure about DC Public, but I'm on the Board for another DMV library system and all of our workers are getting paid - full and part time.

My neighbor is a librarian and she told me that Librarians are still reporting to work and working on back end projects like ordering, removing books (yep there's a finite amount of space so they get rid of books that either aren't circulating or are old) and doing inventory.

Anyone know if libraries (esp MoCo) are extending loans for paper books while they are closed?

If they are still going in it would be great to supervise a deep clean.
