I just got back from Leesburg and it was worth the trip. I went out there for something else but ended up with 8 pairs of shoes. I spent under 350.00 for 8 pairs. I should explain that I am a size 5 and have a really hard time finding size 5, even at Nordstrom. They had size 5 in almost every shoe in the store. They were having buy 1 get 1 half off and no pair was more than 49.99. Most were more like 39.99. They had boots too, just the sale price. Most were 39.99 or 49.99.
I wanted to pass along this info in case anyone was interested. Most of the time I don't find much when I go out there, but today . . . Wow. |

| Wow, I'm a size 5/5.5 but I've looked numerous times at the 9West outlet in Leesburg and it's hit/miss, but that's great, maybe they're getting more and more smaller sizes in. Yeah! |

OP here. PP, I agree that the outlet is hit or miss at best most of the time. You say that you are a 5/5.5, where have you found shoes lately? Do you buy online? As you know, it's not easy to find shoes in our size in general, but lately, I've been having even more trouble.
I spoke to some of the salespeople at Nordstrom and they told me that because of the economy, the buyers have cut back on the variety of inventory and they are carrying fewer of each size per style purchased. The regular 9 West stores told me that they haven't even been getting the 5/5.5 shoes. I can sometimes find some shoes at Bandolino in Pentagon City, but other than that, I can't find anything. I will admit that I don't shop the ultra expensive brands like Jimmy Choo or even Stuart Weitzman. I usually won't go over $150 for a pair of shoes, $200 for a pair of boots. Just wondering if you have any good places around here to find shoes. |
