If your child is in college now, shouldn't you have had little to none of their college savings in the stock market. Especially when it had been a bull market for so long??

Yeah. If parents lose their jobs, that’s one thing.

If they have more than one-quarter of college assets for a student actually in college in stocks and stock funds: holy moly.

If they allocated assets that way based on the advice of an advisor, maybe they should talk to a lawyer.
