What's the rate for afterschool sitter?

Hi, what's the rate for an afterschool sitter to p/u 2 kids and take to activities? Ideally, it should be about 4 hrs/day. Where can I find someone other than care.com?

At least $25/hr, but the reality is if you can find someone that is actually reliable then you pay whatever they want. This is one of the hardest positions to fill with someone reliable and long term.

Oh, and they are using their own vehicle to bring the kids to activities, you will need reimburse them for that too.

I have someone 2 days a week and the days rotate. ( Mon/Tues one week then Weds/Thurs the opposite week) I pay $15 an hour in moco for one 7yo.

Off the books, right? That's super low in this area. Is she "legal"?
