Sleepaway camp

| 10 y/o signed up for 6 week sleepaway camp in Maine, starting end of June. Balance is due soon. The owners said if it is cancelled money would be refunded, but it is impossible to predict what things will look like in June. There is a waiting list so they asked families to please pay or cancel by Mid April. What would you do? |

If you really want your child to go to camp, I would pay. If you have to cancel, the money will be refunded.
We send our DD to camp in North Carolina and, since we already had the money budgeted, went on and paid. I trust the camp to refund our money if the pandemic has not abated by June. |

Our camp sent out an email this week offering the "tuition assurance program" that you can usually only buy when you put down your deposit. Allows us to cancel for any reason. Some $ to be refunded, some kept as a credit for future seasons.
worth asking if they have something like that. |
