Who else is going to ramp up running?

Now that we have to telework (mandatory at our agency) and am avoiding the gym. I normally lift weights and don’t want to worry about wiping down every weight I pick up.

me! no OTF for a while - back to basics with outdoor running and dumbells in the basement.

It's getting warmer, so this is when I spend LESS time outside. I'm still hitting the gym as long as I'm healthy (and to continue that health).

Me especially since the weather is getting nicer.

Me!

I usually hit the gym to lift but will likely be running and hiking more. If nothing else it will help relieve stress.

I don't usually stress about much but all of this is making me crazy stressed.

too bad all the races are cancelled. I bet the first local race that happens will be sold out in minutes

Me!! I’m going to keep up my higher mileage that I was at training for the now-postponed Rock&Roll half marathon. My gym is at work and now shut down so my plan is lots of running and at-home streaming fitness videos for strength and cross training.

+1. A friend is pressuring me to do a half marathon in the fall, and if this lasts for more than a couple weeks i will be doing longer and longer runs just to get out of the house.

Yep, I used to be an avid marathoner that just lost interest a few years ago in favor of weights. Looks like I'll be picking up running again along with bodyweight exercises at home.

I’m going to be the female version of forest gump by the end of all this. One day in and I want to just keep running and running... and running.

Trying. It clears my head. Need to keep recurring plantar fasciitis at bay though. Ugh. Max of 3x a week and trying to do things like yoga videos, hiking, walking the dogs etc.

LOL. The trails near my house in Vienna were pretty packed yesterday - I had the same thought that this will be where all of us type As direct our energy/anxiety - toward training for marathons!
