Ipod Touch apps?

I have an IPOD Touch (NOT an IPhone). I am just getting familiar with it and am wondering if there are any fabulous *free* games or killer apps I can't live without ??!?! Thank you tech goddesses (and gods).

Just for you, or do you have any kids? I've got a few games I play for myself, but admit that the main app user is my 2 yo.

I admit... I have a 5 yr old ..
I "googled" Ipod Apps but had trouble sifting through the hits- and some look dodgy so I thought I'd ask for recs.

I just bought an ipod touch and I'd love some recommendation on apps. Almost exclusively for me (mid 20's), but I'd like ideas on some kid-friendly apps too. TIA!
