Toddler couldn’t get his balance after a really small fall

For about 20 seconds, my 16 month old couldn’t get his balance. He was standing and tripped over a toy and hit his lip. He cried, we cuddled and the he seemed fine. I don’t think he hit hard. But when I put him on his feet he acted like he was drunk or dizzy and couldn’t get his balance. About 20 seconds later he was fine. No nausea or dialed pupils. I kept him up another half hour from his nap and he seemed perfonormal.

Scared the crap out of me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like he just got dizzy. My kid turns in circles until he can’t walk.

If he was fine directly after and is fine now, I wouldn’t worry about it.
