4w2d (IVF) and running a fever - tell me it’s going to be ok

I’ve had three early miscarriages and I’m running a fever today. Downing Tylenol but please tell me it’s going to be ok.

How high is the fever? With both of my successful pregnancies, a low grade fever and mild flu-like symptoms were my first signs of pregnancy.

+1 I also had a low-grade fever as the first sign of my first viable pregnancy.

OP here. Fever at highest was 102. I’ve been having dull uterine aches and sore boobs. Both those symptoms have been coming and going. I’m just so scared! I really want this baby.

Deep breaths, OP. Uterine aches and sore boobs are totally normal...and those symptoms may come and go for the next few weeks, which is also totally normal.
Call your RE or nurse and ask about the fever...similar to PPs, elevated temp was another sign for me that I was pregnant (once as a result of an FET, and once as a complete surprise). Mine never broke 100, though.
I get the feelings of anxiety, being pregnant after IVF. For me, there was this sense of shock that it actually worked, and then complete panic that something would go wrong for the next nine months, despite the fact that I had a perfectly normal, healthy pregnancy. It made for a miserable pregnancy and eventually led to post-partum anxiety after my DD was born. Try to find an outlet for your stress...read a book, go for a walk (within reason, based on your fever), try yoga or meditation, watch a comedy or some sort of mindless tv show/movie...whatever you can think of to take your mind off of things for the next two weeks or so, until you get in for that first ultrasound.

5 weeks + 6 days with my first IVF pregnancy here. Nothing to add....because....what do I know? But....I'm thinking good thoughts for you!

I got a really high fever out of nowhere around 5 weeks and it scared me because Google says that's the worst time to get a fever, but nothing happened. Baby is great, was born healthy, pregnancy sucked but wasn't in any way risky or different than the norm.
