Recommend a conditioner for my 4 year old

DD is 4 year old with thick long hair that gets tangled easily. She’s half Asian half White mostly straight hair. Please recommend a good conditioner for us!

I recommend a hair cut. No 4-year old should be burdened with long, difficult hair.

We just use the Suave Kids with the huge Elsa on the bottle. Mix of shampoo and conditioner, and I don’t have to use detanlger

I use regular adult conditioner on my 4 year old. Any thick conditioner that is curly girl friendly. She has curly hair and we cowash most of the time.

I used detangling spray (samples I got from Sephora mostly) and a good detangling brush.

Google for “conditioners with good slip” — you’ll get lots of good options; from those results, see what’s available where you shop locally so you can return if it doesn’t work out.

Also please try the Wet Brush- it’s a fabulous detangling brush. Game changer for me.

Pantene is the best. And I agree with the wet brush recommendation.

Why bother opening the thread to just say that?

I co-wash with the So Cozy kids co-washing shampoo.

My kids have thin, super wavy hair and WetBrush in the bath has made the most difference.

And just to be clear, you don’t have to use it when hair is wet!
