Kid has a number of acceptances, including to schools they like, but still waiting for April 1 (oh please be sooner) notifications before making final decisions. I feel like I'm having my own version of senioritis. Just want the process to be over.
To be clear, I'm not saying ANY of this to kid... just general support toward them while I anonymously vent to you all.

| Same here! And my DC is so stressed too - really am ready for a decision to be made. |
OP back, and glad to see I'm not alone. My kid is usually very easy going, and has been SO TESTY lately, and I know it's due to the waiting. I feel helpless, because I don't have a time machine to get us to the end of the month!

I felt the same way when my children were seniors. I did keep telling myself "they are going to college" once they got their first acceptance and this made it bearable.

| Me too, OP. Decision has been made trickier, though, with canceled admitted student events. Especially for one school she hasn’t visited. |
| Same same. |

I have found my people!
It is awful for us parents -- imagine what it feels like for our kids. I hope we hear something this week. |

You are bringing back memories. My child did not make up her mind up until the last 48 hours of the decision period. I kept wondering where she would be living a year from then. I wanted to celebrate...but had to respect her process. By the way, she made a great choice, but got the least desirable dorm assignment due to paying her deposit at the last minute. It all worked out in the end though... |

You can still go look at the place, and if it hasn't shut down, interact with students on campus. |
+2 and I've resorted to having an extra glass (or two) of wine a night...leading to lots more extra curricular fun with DH...so win-win I guess? |
Maybe. They are discouraging visitors. |
