One of the founders is a former DCPS administrator. I believe another one of the founders is her husband. Beyond that, it is a brand new school (with no established other location) so there is no record to analyze. Parents enrolling kids for the first year will be taking a gamble.

How do charter schools in PG work? Are students bussed in from all parts of the county?

Charter school students are not eligible for transportation so families need to figure it out on their own. Transportation is provided for specialty programs such as TAG, Science and Tech and Immersion.

No bus. You have to get them there the best way possible.

They seem sketchy, reason being that this is a brand new charter and no one knows their background and history. The website didn't move me either.
