| What is the going rate in DC for nannies watching two siblings vs two kids in a share from two separate families? Thanks! |
|
A share will always be more (for the nanny).
There is no going-rate. Like most other professions, compensation is based on education, experience, and special skills. A nanny with a college degree and teaching experience is obviously going to be more than the former maid nanny. |
| It’s very case by case. Shares often get a little more total but the nanny must also deal with the logistics of two client families |
| Shares also get a little more because its two infants like twins (which also demand a premium). |
| $25/hour for a share and $20/hour for siblings. |
