Why are you deleting the MD schools forum coronavirus threads?

We'd like to be able to discuss MCPS-related coronavirus issues. The VA schools forum still has a thread up. Why have you locked them and then seem to have deleted the one asking about the thread deletions?

Obviously the thread about why posts were locked was not on topic in that forum.

There are far too many threads about COVID-19 and they are taking over the forum. There is an entire thread here complaining about such threads. As such, I am trying to eliminate the repetitiveness. The long MCPS thread had completely turned into a general COVID-19 thread with no particular relevance to MCPS. Meanwhile, there is a long thread here:

If someone wants to start a master thread for MCPS, that's fine. But, if it turns off-topic I will lock it. It will need to stick pretty closely to school issues.

Agreed with the OP Jeff. Please unlock the MCPS thread which was started on 02/25. I noticed that the DCPS coronavirus thread was started 2 days after the MCPS thread on 2/27 and yet their thread is unlocked.
