UTI during TWW

Help! I just took an over the counter pee test and found out I have a UTI. I had an FET last week (it was a day 2 embryo so I haven't tested at home yet as it's probably too early and I don't want to put myself through the misery)... I already emailed my nurse's line but in the meantime -- would antibiotics interfere with implantation/early pregnancy? Or the UTI itself?

I had a UTI after my second embryo transfer. I was told that the antibiotic (macrobid) would be safe. RE indicated it was more harmful to let the UTI go than to treat it.

Call your GYN...they can give you an antibiotic safe in pregnancy.

I got a BFP, but it turned out to be ectopic. So, failure wasn’t due to the UTI.

I always have yeast infection/UTI during every IUI and IVF cycles. Idk why and not sure if it is a reason why they all failed. My doctor told me not to take antibiotic. Sorry for not much help.

Really??? Your doctor felt it was better to have repeated, untreated UTIs? What sort of doctor is this (OB, RE, PCP)?
There are plenty of antibiotics that are safe for use during pregnancy.

It was safe during pregnancy but might interfere with implantation. I got treated after the cycle was over. Odd thing was it only happened whenever there was artificial hormone messing up with my body.
