Poll question: Did you test positive or negative with a home test 5 days after day 5 embryo transfer? |
I tested positive starting 4dp5dt but my beta numbers were substantially above average at OTD. |
I did a 3dt and tested positive at 3dp5dt |
OP here. To make the sample more consistent, it needs to be single embryo transfer and using FRER (first response early result non digital) test. |
Positive 4dp5dt, FET. |
I have had 3 pregnancies:
One cycle i was negative at 7dp3dt (10dpo) and I was so bummed I didnt test again but had a positive beta at 15dpo that progressed to a heartbeat at week 7 before miscarrying 2 weeks later. I dont think the timing of the implantation impacted the eventual failure. The 2nd time I didnt test until 13dpo and it was positive. Again miscarried after a heartbeat, around week 8. The 3rd time i had a negative at 5dp5dt (10dpo), a positive at 11dpo that got stronger until the beta. I am now in the 2nd trimester and all healthy so far. |
First pregnancy (live birth) - tested positive 5dp5dt after FET.
Second pregnancy (almost 11 weeks now) - did not test until 7dp5dt, strong positive. |
SET, FRER. morning of 4dp5dt negative. evening 4dp5dt ambiguous. morning of 5dp5dt very faint positive. |
Also a SET with FRER. Just tested positive 7dp5dt. Had a faint line at 5dp. |
5dp 5dt...FTM, still in the first trimester. |
I always test 4dp5dt, but I always have an accurate answer by 5dp. My first transfer I tested positive and it was correct. My second transfer tested negative, also correct. Third transfer, positive and correct. All SET and with FRER. |
I had a negative on 5dp5dt am, and a pretty obvious positive on 6dp5dt am. If we had tested 5dp5dt, I'm guessing we would have gotten a very faint positive. |
