My teen’s feet STINK

Like, to the point where I can’t even share the couch or even entire living room with him because the smell is so noxious. Help!

He has the coronavirus

He needs to soak them in a vinegar and water solution.

He probably needs more pairs of shoes, that he rotates. He should wash his feet every day with an actibacterial soap and be sure they are completely dry (even between toes) before putting them in socks and in shoes. The shoes should be dry too.

Get the foot sense powder.

He probably doesn’t scrub his feet with soap. I’ve met more than one teen who thought the soapy water flowing over his body was enough to get clean. Scrubbing was a foreign concept.

It may be time for a hygiene talk. Just sayin.

He needs to never wear the same shoes 2 days in a row--they need time to dry out. Put his shoes in a bag in the freezer for a day, it kills some of the bacteria. There is a wonderful powder called "on your toes" that you have to use for a few days in a row on your feet and in your shoes--it is magic and available on amazon. I used to have this problem. Good luck.

My DC has three pairs of sneakers, changes socks every day but still has to soak feet in a mild water and bleach solution from time to time.

Yep. Same here. Mine needed to be told to wash his feet in the shower.

Grateful to not have to experience this yet. Praying not too. Enough gross team boy stuff happening.

“On your toes” powder from Amazon. Follow directions and smell will be gone in 3 days and stay away a LONG time.

It’s just powdered zinc oxide

They sell several shower foot scrubbers on amazon for $10. You suction cup it to the shower floor and it’s easy to lather and scrub. Also, lots of guys use deodorant on their feet.
