Md delegate Jay Walker arrested for drunk driving

It's pretty evident there was a racial component at work here.

More than likely a white police officer, pulling over a black man driving a nice car. Then finding an excuse after the fact.

B freaking S.

Show me where it's evident. A ford F150 is not a "nice car"

black Ford F-150 exited a parking lot and "failed to yield the right of way, causing the officer to take evasive action to avoid being struck," An officer had Walker perform field sobriety tests and found that he was "unable to perform divided attention tests," charging documents say. His eyes were red and he had alcohol on his breath, the officer said.

Walker, 48, was arrested and taken to the Charles County jail, where he was charged with driving under the influence.

He refused a Breathalyzer, court documents say.

But you say it's evident that it's racial.

Some Ford F150's can cost over $70,000. More than most "luxury" sedans.

Always someone else’s fault. Typical race card laziness.

Since we are speculating, why refuse a breathalyzer if you are innocent?

Do you not have any lawyer friends? You always refused a breathalyzer.

If you refuse, your license is immediately suspended for 9 months and you can still get charged and convicted of DUI.

No it's not. I wish people like YOU would stop this racial profiling bs. It's hurting our communities badly. I'm sure there is bodycam that will come out and show the field sobriety test, if this gentleman wants it released.

If white police officers weren't racial profiling, we wouldn't have racial profiling.

Don't blame me. Blame white people.

Racial profiling is NOT what’s going on here. Walker illegally pulled out in front of a cop. No profiling needed to pull him over.

Where racism “may” play a role is that white officers often subconsciously empathize more with white drivers and don’t charge them as often as they charge drivers of color.
