Looking for gay-friendly, diverse private school

Anonymous
The search begins. We are the AA lesbian parents of an AA/Biracial boy. As the tour season approaches, we're targeting schools that are welcoming/inclusive of children w/same-sex parents, and diversity.

Any suggestions? We would be entering Kindergarden. I'd like to hear some of your experiences.

Thanks.

My son goes to McLean School of Maryland. This is his first year there. It's a great school. My son is doing well and is happy. We are treated like any other parents and have not had any issues or concerns. Every parent I have meet so far speaks highly of the school and I am seeing why. It's a good fit for our son and we are glad we made the choice to send him there.

Haven't you seen the ads from schools who had your own special open-house day?

Grace Episcopal Day School in Silver Spring is an extremely inclusive, diverse place. They are still accepting applications.
