Favorite Boy Baby Clothes

Anonymous
The girl clothes question got me thinking about boy baby clothes. I have one DS and 2 more boys on the way. I find it difficult to find cute boy clothes (and shoes) - the girls stuff is much nicer. Any suggestions of cute brands for boys? Or is there really nothing much out there?

I agree its harder but its out there...

the thing is a lot of boys tend to dress like little men ...

but I dress my son in suits
Gymboree clothes
Zantuna clothing
and alot of organic clothing
and other cute outfits I see when im out

we use a lot of hats to and robeez shoes

shoe wise I only use soft soled better for babies feet ...

Le Top has some cute boy stuff too.

I don't understand why the designers can't just make the cute girly designs (fun polka dots, etc) minus the pink for boys.

I like Hanna Andersson for both.

For cheap: Target and Old Navy have really cute boy stuff. For not cheap: I got a catalog in the mail for Mini Boden (check the web), which had a lot of cute stuff in it for boys. I have boy/girl twins and I actually find it easier to dress the boy. Nordstrom and Janie and Jack also have nice things. Baby gap is great for pants because they have an adjustable waist.

Janie and Jack is my tops for boys--(and girls) they are expensive but check sales. Really cute clothes. Store in Tysons. Also Lands End is GREAT. Check Sears at Mont. mall, online or catelog (note, run slightly big). I personally don't care for Hannah for boys

I'm the one that posted the girl clothes question....I have four nephews and I definitely think Janie and Jack has the cutest boy clothes. They are sufficiently big boy without being TOO adult. So many boys clothes are just like miniature man clothes or only have a sports theme! There are so few places to get cute boy clothes compared to girls and even when they sell both it's more girls clothes. I posted the question because there are SO many girl lines and I wanted to know if anyone had bought something I hadn't seen or purchased. You can't buy every girl line and see if it looks cute when your baby wears it. Boys have more limited options. We often get them clothes at TJMaxx or other stores like that. Shilav is also cute on boys.

I also was with my sister the other day at JCPenny and she got her boys some clothes from their Okie Dokie line. I got my daughter one of their playclothes mix and match outfits and I got her some more now. I wasn't sure of the quality but so far the one outfit I got really held up and looked cute, but it was cut a bit big so this time I got her a size lower because she's not very big.

I LOVE the new Pumpkin Patch store at Tysons Corner (and Pumpkin Patch clothes in general) -- I just think they are adorable for little boys.

I am a huge fan of Baby Gap for little boys. I am more traditional, I like the navy blues, reds, hunter greens for a little boys, and lean a little bit towards the preppy side. They have great shorts, polos, sweaters, patchwork pants, etc. for boys right now. There spring line has been fantastic. I also love Janie and Jack, they are a little more pricey, but also very cute. Old Navy also has some very things, you have to see in person though and make sure it the quality is there. I also love Ralph Lauren/Polo for boys. All these places also have fantastic girl clothes.

A bit pricey, but a good selection... Beyda's Lads & Lassie Shop (544 Westbard Ave. Bethesda). It's in a shopping plaza off of River Road. Not impressive from the outside, but very cute selection. Vineyard Vines and other higher end lines.

Have you had good luck with the Ralph Lauren stuff? I found it to not be of the best quality....particuarly considering the price. I usually find it at TJMaxx for much less money, but it still irritates me that the cotton pills! Maybe I just didn't pick the right stuff? I also agree with Old Navy's quality. It's either great or iffy, but most of it is pretty good.

Mini bodin. I do not like the cutesy things with puppies ect... for boys and this place doesn't have that. Girls are much more fun to shop for. Hanna Anderson for the very young boy. Less than 2.
